1. Bathing And Soaking

It’s a notion that soaking cracked and dry skin in water is an easy way to moisturize. But you’re partly right and wrong! Water is known to be drying to your skin and tends to strip off your skin’s natural oil. Hence it is often advised to add some drops of natural oil such as almond, avocado oil, or coconut oil to heal cracked and dry skin. Also, make sure to limit these baths & showers time to not longer than 5-10 min. Avoid hot water and maintain a warm water temperature that won’t dry out your skin.

Foot and hand soaking in warm water are useful to loosen and soothe dry skin. This also helps to improve blood circulation to your feet and hands preventing dry skin. Alternatively, add vinegar to the foot soak to cure mild athlete’s foot or eliminate foot odor. [READ: Beauty Therapy Tips For Your Feet]

  1. Feet and hands get dry very quickly in winters. So far Vaseline has alway come for my rescue when I face dry feet issue. But for hands it’s not an ideal option. I haven’t heard of Moha brand but it looks promising.
